The ESD safe PELCO^® Pro carbon fiber soft tip tweezers have scratch proof, polyamide/carbon fiber tips, specially designed to handle sensitive parts. The polyamide 66 is reinforced with 30% carbon fibers. The soft tips exhibit high rigidity, low friction, self lubricating properties and excellent wear and abrasion resistance. The tips have good chemical resistance (oils, grease, fuels, non polar solvents), but are not resistant to strong acid, hot water or steam. Can be operated at temperatures up to 130°C (266°F), for short use maximum temperature is 190°C (374°F). Typical applications include handling of sensitive components, soft materials, electronic components, micro-mechanical parts, glass, quartz, ceramics and small wafers. The tweezers body is made from non-magnetic stainless steel.
